BOUDOIR SESSIONS

I know, boudoir seems scary. Most people don’t love being in front of the camera, especially in such an intimate and vulnerable way. But I believe in showing my clients the true beauty behind boudoir. The empowerment, the femininity, the strength - without feeling like you’re giving up your dignity or your class or your personal beliefs and sense of self.

I believe in guiding and helping women to show their true feminine beauty and strength. It’s not about what you’re comfortable wearing, or how big your hair is, or how red your lips are - it’s about recognizing the delicacy, the femininity, and the strength and the crucial role that plays in your life. And helping you hone and communicate it through images.

I believe in empowering women to be confident in who they were made to be.

And lastly, I believe in creating an experience that leaves you feeling seen, that leaves you feeling beautiful, that leaves you feeling cared for, and that leaves you feeling like the feminine queen that you are.

There comes a point in every woman’s life where her perception of beauty begins to change. When beauty becomes less about how you feel within your own skin and more about what you’re putting on it and how it makes others feel.

You can feel pretty. But don’t act like it. You can be thin. But not too thin. You can be curvy. But not too curvy. You can wear makeup. But not too much. You can be natural. But a little mascara wouldn’t hurt.

It starts when we’re young, and then it never ends. Society telling you how we’re allowed to be beautiful and selling us anything that will “make” us that way.

Well, I have news for you. Every woman is innately beautiful. Because in all honesty, it comes from within. When you feel beautiful - you are.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • We recommend bringing several different outfits.

    • Two Black Sets - a push up bra with matching panties, thigh high stockings and heels. And one other black piece, whether that's a teddy, slip, or other.

    • Three Colorful Sets - Victoria's Secret does some great colorful sets. Whether it's floral, hot pink, deep burgundy, a beautiful forest green. I recommend a mix of bras, panties, slips, and teddies.

    • One to Two Fun Outfits - Whether it's your man's tee that you sometimes wear to bed, a cozy oversized sweater, your favorite team jersey, anything that is unique to you!

    • A WHITE SET! Yes, you knew it was coming. Bringing at least one, preferably two, white sets. Bonus if you can also bring a white robe. We love a white set for our brides!

    • A dress or slip that is elegant but doesn't feel suggestive or sexual and instead just makes you feel beautiful. It's that thing you put on that makes you feel like a million bucks, but that you're also comfortable being seen in.

  • Whether you're located in our home state of Washington, on the East Coast, or even in Paris - we have access to luxury studios all over the world. Two to four weeks before your session you will receive an address to the studio local to you. Renting an Airbnb or somewhere in particular you'd like your session done? Just let me know!

  • Within one week after your session, but we try to have them done within 48 hours. Once your images are done, we will set up an appointment to meet over coffee, review your images together, and make your selections.

  • As soon as possible! We book up very fast, so I encourage you to book as soon as you're ready.

  • I recommend waxing two days before your session, and if you prefer not to wax - shave well the morning of your session.

  • Nope! Because we hired one for you! A professional will come to our studio to do your hair and makeup and we will all chat, enjoy champagne and fruit, and have a grand old time.

  • Please don't! In fact, avoid tanning in the two weeks before your session. Tanner can look very orange on camera and is hard to tone down, so trust me - you will want to skip it for this one!

  • You can absolutely bring a friend. In fact, if your friend books a back to back session you both receive a complimentary digital of your choice! It's always great to have one of your girls there to gas you up (but I promise I do it just as well!) so you are welcome to bring someone along for moral support. I do have two rules:

    1. It's a girl's only zone.

    2. You cannot bring anyone who is going to be judgemental or make you uncomfortable.

  • First - you don't. Second - I promise to take care all of the small stuff (cellulite, blemishes, cosmetic imperfections) and I will guide you through the entire process. Flattering angles, how to pose, where to put your hands. I will be with you every step of the way.

  • Once your retainer is paid, it is non-refundable. You can reschedule your session up to 30 days prior, but after that it is unable to be moved.

Whether it’s just a little something for themselves and they’re taking advantage of the free session fee, or they’re looking to gift a little something to their husband-to-be. Whatever the reason, we’re here for you!

Yes, you get to leave your session feeling beautiful. And that will be multiplied ten fold when you actually get to see your images. And then again when you receive your album, or prints, or give your S.O. their spicy surprise gift.
